Zebra Sarasa Clip Pens: Sweets Party Series

Ah, Sweets Party. The series that really made me love the Sarasa clip series. I found the series on Jetpens (One of my all time favourite online stationary stores!), but at the end of their run there with only 5 Magenta (Rum Raison Pie) pens left. So I purchased the last remaining pens and then embarked on a hunt for the whole series. I ended up enlisting the help of Kagami Hirano, who helped me to get the rest of the pens. Thank youuu!

I really love this series because it has such lovely barrels. Beautiful, sparkly barrels with cute dessert prints. The pens' scents are a little softer than my Fresh Paradise series, but still quite sweet. The desserts vary including Chocolate Brownie, Strawberry Parfait, Apple Jelly....my favourites are Green Tea Sundae and Roseship Tea....

All in all, the series contains 10 pens: Black (Chocolate brownie), Magenta (Rum Raison Pie), Light Pink (Roseship Tea), Pink (Peach Tart), Red (Strawberry Parfait), Orange (Orange maracons), Yellow (Lemon Squash), Light Green (Green Tea Sundae), Green (Apple Jelly), Dark Blue (Mint Ice-Cream)

Please note: I will not trade my own set here, but I do have some pen trading including: Rum Raison Pie, Lemon Squash, Roseship Tea and Strawberry Parfait. However, as these pens are very difficult to obtain, I will only make trades if you have a pen that I really desire. Thanks!

Zebra Sarasa Clip Pens: Fresh Paradise Series

The Fresh Paradise series happens to be one of my favourite pen sets. These pens have lovely fruity scents, with some rather unusual flavours (Ocean Breeze or Shampoo, anyone?) They were extremely difficult to find as Zebra discontinued the line in 2012. But I was lucky to get this little gift. Thank you Amanda! :)

The series contains 10 scented pens (I recently received my last missing pen and will update the following photo soon.)

The pens photographed below are:
Black (Rich Shampoo), Navy (Ocean Breeze), Purple (Berry Squash), Rose pink (Rose Candy), Peach pink (Fresh Peach), Red (Tropical Passion/ Passionfruit), Orange (Splash Orange), Light orange (Pure Mango) and Green (Herb Mist)

Please note: This set is not for trade. It's just a display of my favourite pens :)

Zebra Sarasa Clip Pens: Snoopy Series

I'll start with this set. This is the latest set of pens I've purchased! They're wonderfully detailed and very cute because of all the Snoopy print. I never use to like pens with chunky clips-and-grips, but Zebra Sarasa have changed this for me :)

The series has 8 colours in total: Black, Dark Blue, Sky Blue, Green, Orange, Pink, Peach Pink and Red. These pens have beautiful, colourful Snoopy patterns on the barrel, but are just plain ink (no special functionlity).

Please note: I may trade a spare set of these pens I own if you have any pens from my wishlist.

Taiwanese and Japanese Stationary and Snack Lover

Hi and Welcome to Taipei Tokyo Lover (Formerly known as "The Musings of a Gel Pen Addict")

I've started this blog to do three things:

Display my collection of Gel Pens

I've been collecting since 1999. I'm very particular about my gel pens. I mostly collect Japanese brands (Zebra, Sakura, Pilot etc.) that have a range of colours and special functions (glitter, glow-in-the-dark, scented etc.)...To date, I have over 3000 pens, so I'd love to share pictures of my collection.

Display my collection of Taiwanese and Japanese stationary

Aside from gel pens, I love stationary. I hoard a crazy collection of notebooks and letter sets and washi tape, which I'd love to share with you if you're a stationary fan too!

Talk about Taiwanese and Japanese snacks

It seems to odd to include this on a stationary blog, but I like the idea of including all the crazy Asian snacks I try. I guess this came about because whenever I buy stationary online, or off, I tend to splurge on some Asian snacks which I'll find in the same Taiwanese/ Japanese stores. There's so much variety in Japanese Kit Kats and green tea desserts and the packaging for these items are so cute! It seems wrong to just eat them without admiring them first in photographic form.

Anyway, I hope you can enjoy your visit here!
